*Not anymore. But the kid's too fascinating to shut this thing down. So ... yeah.

The World's Most Underrated Baby Milestone
Over the past couple of days it's become apparent that NJ understands arms and sleeves. Dressing her is no longer akin to putting a full-body leotard on a cat.
well done, norah! i made up a song to teach livy about arms and sleeves. it's called "the arm-sleeve dance," and it entertains her enough so that i can get her dressed. i also scream "noodle!" at her when i put shirts over her head. it's bound to make chicken soup very confusing in the future.
When I'm putting a shirt on her, I show NJ the rolled up shirt and the open neck hole and say "Look what's coming!" She starts blinking and squinting and cringing a little, basically bracing herself. Then I pop that thing over her head and we have a small clapping celebration that it all went smoothly.
(Yes, had a couple of bad pull-over experiences in the past.)
That's very true; good observation. I'm glad you're paying attention.
